Tourmaline var. Indicolite on Quartz

This is an exquisite combination piece, probably from the 1960s-1970s, of GEM blue-green indicolite tourmaline perched on a floater quartz crystal. The tourmaline is 5.5 cm long, and about 8mm thick. It is perfect on the termination, and totally 100% transparent. Overall the piece is translucent and geometrically striking. The quartz is about 1 cm thick, and overll the piece is about 1.5 cm thick. The piece is simply striking - photos convey most of it, but it is better than person.
