A "gem pencil", this glassy and gemmy, doubly-terminated, teal blue, elbaite crystal is nearly limpid. The gem weight is 17 grams. A simple, but elegant gem crystal! This material came out in 2002-2003 and I sold this at the time (recently getting it back). Many crystals from this lot were simply sold as gem rough because it was easy money - I am almost embarrassed to say how many were cut out of the 50 piece lot I had at the time. This is a glowing, unrepaired, gem crystal and stands apart in quality from many murkier or less bright indicolites from the mine. Valued $2500
