Item Description

An attractive association specimen from this famous Pakistani locality. The focal point of the piece is the thin, prismatic, striated Tourmaline crystals which may appear black, but with very strong backlighting, shows the most unique golden-orange color. It's impossible to know which species of Tourmaline this is without analysis, but it would be interesting to know. The Tourmaline crystals play host to a silvery white, translucent, hexagonal crystal of Apatite which is surrounded by a small next of bladed golden Muscovite. Overall, the quality is good, and the piece displays well from many angles. A really cool and worthwhile full-sized miniature display specimen with a few associated species.
