Item Description
Tourmaline is beloved by collectors for its wide range of vivid colors. It is considered rare for Tourmaline from any locality to produce yellow or orange colored stones. Recently in Tanzania there was a find of superb Tourmaline which are now known as "Sunset Tourmaline". The rich warm hues seen in these gems makes these stones very enticing for collectors. This particular gem is a beautiful, nearly eye clean gem with a lovely golden color and slight green and orange highlights depending upon the angle at which the stone is viewed. The stone has an "Oval Step" cut. It seems that these stones have quickly dried up from the market, and they are retailing for fairly high numbers with some dealers, so don't miss out on this fantastic Tourmaline of an uncommon color with beautiful custom cutting. A beautiful stone that truly looks better in person, as the green and orange highlights really do not show up very well in the photos.
