Item Description

A dramatic and aesthetic large combination from famous Stak Nala. A 5.8 cm frosted, gemmy quartz point is partially enveloped by an impressive parallel-growth cluster of classic bi-colored tourmaline crystals. The typical pastel-pink terminations are underlain by narrow grass-green or indicolite-blue zones above the black schorl bodies. The cleavelandite rosette on the side of the tourmalines is a super accent and the cluster is beautifully set atop the mounded matrix of jackstraw clusters of pearlescent cleavelandite blades. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine with only trivial bruising to the quartz termination and to the cleavelandite rosette. This is a very fine large mine-run combination specimen that would really benefit from a professional cleaning. Ex Uwe Strauss Collection. Valued at $2000.
