Item Description
A fine pendant of a polished on both sides slice of a bi-colored, trigonal tourmaline from the famous Tourmaline Queen Mine. A pretty translucent teal-blue rind surrounds the opaque black schorl core on this lustrous slice. Rare, old-time tourmaline from the 1950s from the Queen. Formerly in the John Sinkankas Collection, who passed away in 2002. John was a famous author, mineralogist, bibliophile, field collector and gemologist.
