Item Description
A beautifully paired rough and cut set featuring blue-green Tourmaline from Afghanistan. The stone is a beautiful blue-green color gem with very very slight inclusions and a standard "Cut Corner Rectangle" cut. The clarity of the stone is great becuase Tourmaline is classified as a Type-III gemstone, which means that inclusions are almost always present, so when you find a stone like this with only the tiniest of inclusions, it's important. The matching specimen features a 3.0 cm wonderful blue-green Tourmaline crystal with good form, aesthetically sitting on gemmy colorless Quartz matrix. Valued at $1500.
