A striking tourmaline and quartz combination from Stak Nala. Classic bi-colored Stak Nala tourmalines are dramatically embedded on or are included in the side of a sculptural cluster of sharply terminated, glassy, translucent to transprent, parallel-growth, quartz crystals. 11 tourmalines, to 4.2 cm, are noted on the side of the piece. The highly lustrous, well-striated tourmalines have beautiful gem terminations, with colorless tips underlain by grass-green and olive-green sections. The schorl bodies are encased in a rind of olive-green tourmaline. A fascinating and immensely sculptural tourmaline combination from the Raul Orellana Collection.
