Item Description
Here we have a beautiful old Tourmaline slice from Alto Ligonha, Mozambique dating back to the early 1960s. Alto Ligonha produced some of the most eye-catching polychrome Tourmaline specimens in the world for a time, and sometimes they are sliced and polished to better show their beautiful internal coloring. This piece is a wonderful polished slice featuring a rich green "core" surrounded by a few thin pink corner. The periphery of the piece is complete all around, with no damage. A gorgeous example of these well-known and notably colorful Tourmalines. Specimen weight is 21.40 carats.
