Item Description
Here we have a beautiful crystal group of gemmy pink and green Tourmaline with sharp, glassy faces and excellent saturation. The piece is in good shape, with only a few nicks, and would make a great addition to any Tourmaline suite or a gem crystal collection. Classic material and great quality from the standpiont of luster, gemminess and color. The bottom of the piece is just starting to the show signs of turning into one of the famous "scepter" crystals from this region as you can see the outer green "rind" is starting to peel away from the inner pink "core". If the outer edge were to completely fall away, you would see a thinner pink "stem" at the base in the form of a "scepter". This material is iconic from Barra do Salinas and good crystals with such strong pink and green saturation and not common from any world locality. Weigh is 9.46 grams.
