Tourmaline on/in Quartz

In terms of Tourmaline crystals or specimens, Pakistan is typically outshined by the specimens from nearby Afghanistan, though it should be noted that there are a few localities that produce very attractive specimens. This piece comes from a recent find at Chhappu, which is not typically known for its Tourmalines, but has produced some attractive pieces. The piece hosts several eye-catching green colored, gemmy, prismatic crystals of Tourmaline sitting on and included within a gemmy, colorless, hexagonal crystal of Quartz. There are a few TINY nicks to the Quartz crystal, and some of the Tourmalines are not fully crystallized, but the piece is still in good shape. Overall it's a showy and desirable specimen from a fairly hard to find locality in Pakistan.
