Item Description
Along with the red/green zoned Tourmalines, the rich, lustrous pinks are also one of the standard bearers for the famous Himalaya Mine in California. This 2.1 cm crystal has one complete termination, and it sits beautifully in a larger, well-formed Quartz crystal. There is some Cleavelandite that laces thrugh the Qyartz, and adds interest to this pegmatite combination. As is often the case, it is repaired. A lovely, aesthetic miniature. From the extensive collection of Bob Reynolds, who cherished both minerals and fossils as he collected. Bob is a prolific author and has had several curating positions in museums.
