Tourmaline on Quartz (rare Pakistan)

Item Description

Gemmy and lustrous pretty light pistachio-green tourmaline prisms are aesthetically and dramatically strewn on all sides of the sculptural large cluster of parallel-growth quartz crystals. This showy and very impressive combination is from recent finds at Chhappu, a much less well-known area of the famous Shigar District of Pakistan. The tourmalines reach 3.7 cm long. The quartz crystals are water-clear to translucent and have glass-clear to satin luster faces. The form and terminations of the pristine quartz crystals plus the placement of the numerous tourmaline crystals make for a very appealing 360-degree large combination from this less well-known Pakistan locale.
