Tourmaline on Quartz (ex Rolando Gioia Collection)

Item Description

A handful of prismatic "gem pencil" Tourmaline crystals sit on a partial translucent Quartz crystal from an undisclosed locality in Brazil. The Tourmalines have a gorgeous blue-green hue, and are nearly all WATER CLEAR with the largest measuring 2.7 cm. The largest Tourmaline is terminated on one end, but unfortunately the smaller crystals are not. Classic material from Brazil, which has produced some of the most iconic Tourmaline specimens in the world.
