Item Description
This tourmaline in Quartz specimen is just over 680 grams, and is fairly sizable (about the size of a soda can in person). The quartz association is fantastic and it looks like the sword coming out of the proverbial stone. It is dramatic from the front and no question, looks expensive. The termination is Complete, with a few minor shallow damages, and tapers off naturally in back (it is not broken). However, it is contacted and damaged in the right side and rear of the crystal, so it has only one display face...the front view, to be blunt. Nevertheless, it is not repaired, and at the price it may go for, is surely a bargain. I am selling this for a customer who obtained it long ago, in the early days of matrix tourmaline coming out of this region. He paid far more for it than it will sell for, I assure you. And, again, it DISPLAYS well, from the front, so is a potential bargain for the collector that wants a tourmaline that looks like it is 5-6k at a bargain price.
