Tourmaline on Quartz

Item Description

A 2.7 cm, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, rich green color, prism of Tourmaline sitting across a partial crystal of Quartz. The Tourmaline's termination grew into a thin layer of Feldspar on the Quartz, but I wouldn't consider this damage. Brazil is one of the most iconic gem crystal producing countries in the world, and this is an attractive miniature sized specimen of some of the most well known Tourmalines extant.
