Tourmaline on Quartz

Pakistan for several decades has produced some excellent gem pegmatite minerals, but not a lot of great Tourmalines. Outside of Stak Nala, there aren't many good localities for Tourmaline in Pakistan, but there are a few place that produce attractive specimens. This piece is from Chhappu, which is not typically known for its Tourmalines, and came from a small pocket a couple years ago. The piece hosts a few attractive green colored, gemmy, prismatic crystals of Tourmaline sitting on gemmy, colorless, hexagonal crystals of Quartz. The main Tourmaline measures 3.7 cm. The front face of the piece is in good shape, though incomplete on the back. Overall it's a showy and desirable specimen from a fairly hard to find locality in Pakistan.
