Item Description

A lovely specimen from the famous Golconda Mine in Brazil featuring sharp, lustrous, striated prisms of dark blue-green Tourmaline measuring up to 1.6 cm sitting atop a complete "flower"-like group of bladed silvery Muscovite. A gentle coating of a beige mineral (possibly Cookeite?) and minor white bladed Albite can be seen on the piece as well. The specimen is nearly a complete "floater", as it's crystallized all the way around, but has a few tiny points of contact. A really attractive and unusual specimen from this famous Brazilian locale that dates back many decades.
