Item Description

This is a striking large Himalaya combination specimen. A large, extremely sharp, creamy microcline crystal is host to a well-placed, 4.2 cm, bi-colored, tapered tourmaline. The very gemmy, pretty "Himalaya pink" termination lies above alternating zones of pink and olive-green on this lustrous crystal. Gemmy, lavender lepidolite crystals and a couple of cleavelandite blades are a nice accent to the tourmaline. Contacting on the back of the microcline is nearly out of sight. This is a very impressive, large microcline feldspar for the Himalaya, though the crystal is seriously enhanced by the pretty tourmaline sidecars.
