Item Description

A cool cabinet sized reference specimen featuring rich blue-green color prismatic Tourmaline crystals on white-silvery colored Lepidolite mica with minor Albite. Maine Tourmalines are some of the most classic specimens from the United States. The piece comes from the collection of well known geologist, Allen Heyl (the phosphate Ahyelite was named after him), who acquired the specimen from dealer David Crawfod in 1995 according to his label.
