Item Description

A classic pink and green Tourmaline smartly perched atop a snow-like mound of white crystallized Albite. When people think of Afghani Tourmalines, this is what comes to mind for most. A bright, GEM/gemmy, prismatic multi-color group of crystals aesthetically sitting on matrix is what every collector would like to have in a Tourmaline. This piece has the distinction of coming from an older find as it exhibits the pink green pink coloration that hasn't been seen in the newer specimens from the last 5 years or so. The main crystal is completely free of damage along with the perks of having TOP luster and superior transparency in areas. The combo of color, aesthetics, gemminess and quality make it a top notch large miniature / small cabinet that would suit any gem mineral collector or competitive mineral collector out there. Originally valued at $4400.
