Item Description
A beautiful multicolor Tourmaline specimen with Lepidolite from the Coronel Murta area in Brazil. The piece starts out with a beautiful pink zone at the termination, which grades into a colorless "Achroite" zone then a beautiful blue-green hue and a nearly black hue througout the rest of the crystal. The piece is associated with very pale lavender Lepidolite. Now it should be noted that as of the time I have posted this auction, it is still unclear if Lepidolite will be redefined / renamed, or completely discredited. Right now, it's said to be a series between Polylithionite and Trilithionite. A beautiful little piece for any collector of gem crystals or thumbnails.
