Item Description
A very nice pair of polychrome Tourmaline crystals from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. I have seen many Tourmaline specimens from Stak Nala for many years and the one characteristic of that many of them lacked was decent color. The two DOUBLY-TERMINATED crystals on this piece feature several colors ranging from colorless "Achroite" terminations, then a beautiful blue-green hue which gives way to a yellow-green color then an olive-green color, and a very dark (almost black) green hue which gives way to a soft green and ending with soft pink pyramidal terminations on the other end. The final touch to the piece is a "rosette" of white, bladed Albite (var: "Cleavelandite") flaring off the side of the piece. Great quality and form for the material. Found in 2011.
