Item Description

From a find in the late Fall of 2005 in Pakistan. A nice thumbnail sized specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. These crystals are well known for their multicolor crystals and beautiful aesthetics. The crystals on this piece features a few colors ranging from a thin colorless ("Achroite") zone at the termination, then a very thin chrome-green color, which gives way to an olive-green hue, with a very dark forest-green color in the majority of the crystals, finishing off with a pale yellow hue on the othe termination. Yellow is one of the rarest colors to find in Tourmaline. This is a great little display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These piece are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market.
