Item Description

From a find in the late Fall of 2005 in Pakistan. A decent large thumbnail sized specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. These crystals are well known for their multicolor crystals and beautiful aesthetics. This crystal features a few colors ranging from a yellow zone at the termination, which gives way to a dark greenish-black zone throughout most of the crysatls and then a rich green zone on the other end with a very thin nearly colorless "Achroite" zone on the basal termination. Yellow is one of the rarest colors to find in Tourmaline. This is a great little display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These piece are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market.
