Item Description

A nice polychrome Tourmaline crystal from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. I have seen many Tourmaline specimens from Stak Nala for many years and the one characteristic of that many of them lacked was decent color. This doubly-terminated crystal features several colors ranging from a colorless "Achroite" termination, then a slight yellow-green color which gives way to an olive-green color, and a very dark (almost black) green hue which gives way to a soft green and another colorless "Achroite" termination on the other end. The pyramidal termination is gemmy and well-formed. Only a few minor dings, nothing significant. Found in 2011.
