Item Description

A very cool and certainly hard to find multicolor Tourmaline crystal with an unusual and desirable color combination. The upper portion of the crystals have a beautiful pink hue that grade into a very minor gemmy, colorless "Achroite" zone that leads into a soft blue-green area which gives way to a lovely soft pink hue at the base (which is a bit lighter than the photos show). Overall, the piece is in decent shape, but it is contacted on the back/sides, but the main focal group of the crystals at the top is essentially pristine. A beautiful Tourmaline crystal group that is rarely seen on the market these days, since so much is making its way to China for cutting, cabbing or carving. A worthwhile and eye-catching gem crystal display specimen from one of the most famous pegmatite localities extant. The piece was priced in the inventory at $900. Enjoy!
