Item Description
From a find in the late Fall of 2005 in Pakistan. A great small cabinet sized specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. I have seen many Tourmaline specimens from Stak Nala for many years and the one characteristic of that many of them lacked was decent color. The crystal on this piece features a few colors ranging from a rich green zone at the tip of the pyramidal termination, then a lovely blue-green hue, ending with a very dark forest-green color throughout the base of the crystal. To top it off, the crystal is associated with couple other small Tourmaline crystals and white bladed Albite var: Cleavelandite plus Muscovite on the side. The prism of the Tourmaline is rather lustrous for this material, but the termination is just as lustrous, which is NOT common for these crystals. This is a great display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These piece are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market. Valued at $1250
