Item Description

From a find in the late Fall of 2005 in Pakistan. A great toenail sized specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. I have seen many Tourmaline specimens from Stak Nala for many years and the one characteristic of that many of them lacked was decent color. The crystal on this piece features a few colors ranging from a rich pink color at the termination, then a silvery-grey hue (unusual for Tourmaline) ending with a soft olive green color at the gbase. To top it off, the crystal has a notable pyramidal termination, which is not common for Tourmalines from this locality. This is a great little display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These piece are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market.
