Item Description
A really cool group of polychrome Tourmaline crystals on Quartz and Albite from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. I have seen many Tourmaline specimens from Stak Nala for many years and the one characteristic of that many of them lacked was decent color. The largest crystal on this specimen measures 1.3 cm and all of them feature several colors ranging from a light pink shade in some to a slight colorless ("Achroite") area in others, and yet other show a beautiful yellow-green color which gives way to an olive-green color, with a very dark green (nearly black) hue. Found in 2002, and despite some broken crystals, is a really cool example of how one diverse the coloration of Tourmaline can be, even on the same specimen!
