Item Description
From a find in the late Fall of 2005 in Pakistan. This is a very nice specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. I have seen many Tourmaline specimens from Stak Nala for many years and the one characteristic of that many of them lacked was decent color. The main doubly-terminated crystal on this specimen feature several colors ranging from a pink termination to a very dark green (almost black hue) then a blue-green zone which ends with a silvery-pink shade on the other end. To top it off, the crystal is associated with a beautiful "flower" of Albite var: Cleavelandite flaring off the side. This is a great little display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These piece are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market. Hard to find doubly-terminated crystals from Stak Nala as well.
