Item Description

A beautiful display piece from the Sapo Mine featuring a predominant prismatic crystal of Tourmaline with a basal termination, along with a couple secondary accenting crystals aesthetically growing at a perpendicular angle associated with a bit of soft silvery-lilac colored "Lepidolite" at the base. The crystals have good luster, but are dark on the surface when viewed in reflected light. When they are backlit however, they show a gorgeous combination of colors, with a deep blue shade on the terminations, grading into a soft pinkish-yellow tone with a bit of green on the edges, and then a stronger pink color lower down. The piece is a complete "floater", as the crystals are doubly-terminated, full crystallized and I cannot find a point of contact anywhere. A very attractive, fine quality specimen of this wondeful classic material. PLEASE NOTE: The color in person is BETTER than it shows in the video, the yellow and pink hues in the Tourmalines are a bit more saturated in person.
