Tourmaline (multi-color crystal)

Item Description

This is a beautiful classic multi-color Tourmaline crystal from the famed Cruzeiro Mine in Brazil featuring lustrous, striated prism faces and excellent saturation on the termination. The piece begins with a very dark red, strip on the basal termination, then it grades into a wonderful RICH cranberry color, which gives way to an odd yet alluring silvery-pinkish-lilac hue throughout the rest of the piece. The piece is in very good shape, with no major damage, though there are few small imperfections. It would make a great addition to a Tourmaline suite, a gem crystal collection, or a Brazilian collection. Classic material and very attractive from the standpoint of color. Weight is 5.10 grams.
