Item Description
This attractive matrix specimen of classic Pech tourmaline is perched in sparkling crystallized lepidolite matrix. The beautiful, pastel colored crystal measures 6 cm and sticks up dramatically. I am selling this for a friend, and he is potentially leaving money on the table because all you have to do is trim the specimen down the middle (where there is a natural crack halfway through it anyhow), and you will then have a MUCH MORE BALANCED, more valuable, display-quality, small cab specimen plus a freebie from the other side. But, here it is "as is" and is worth $2000 anyhow as a bigger piece. To me, after the easy trim, its valued for more money if the collector so chooses to reduce the size (but that is my own taste, not for everybody - its beautiful as a big piece because of the incredibly sparkly lepidolite, too!).
