Item Description

A really unusual Tourmaline crystal that is HIGHLY compressed on one axis making it only a few mm thick one direction. The crystal is essentially a "floater", as it's doubly-terminated and complete all the way around. Just a tiny bit of chipping can be seen on one edge, but overall the piece is damage free. A small cluster of additional Tourmaline crystals can be seen on one side. The crystal shows a gorgeous green hue when backlit. A great novelty crystal to add to a gem crystal collection or a Tourmaline suite. The piece weighs 10.24 grams.
