Item Description
A luscious, bi-colored, doubly terminated elbaite with unusually different terminations from the famous Himalaya Mine. The striking complex pyramidal termination is a very dark rubellite red. The body of the highly lustrous, well-striated gemmy/translucent crystal is the classic "Himalaya pink". The basal 3 mm of the pinacoidal termination is gem and is a pretty teal-green. Complete all-around and in great shape. The primary termination has a lightly dinged tip and one small spot of edge wear is noted. The lower termination has just a bit of edge wear. These are certainly only modest detractions to this most excellent and colorful 360-degree tourmaline. 80 grams mass. Valued at $1800
