Item Description
An adorable and sculptural large thumbnail cluster of vivid pink tourmaline crystals from the Mawi Pegmatite. The upper half of the beautiful and impressive large crystal is gem with a translucent lower section. The attached smaller crystals add pizzazz to this outstanding cutie. Ex Cook Collection. Old material as it comes with a Al McGuiness label, a prominent California dealer, dating to the 1980s when material from Afghanistan was first reaching Western markets. Mass is 18.83 carats or 3.77 grams. This is a classic, rich pink color tourmaline from the Mawi Pegmatite.
