Item Description

A sharp, lustrous and well-formed blocky bronze colored trigonal Tourmaline crystal (Dravite) from Yinnietharra in Western Australia. Not terribly common on the market anymore, and specimens from this locality are arguably the most famous Tourmalines from Australia. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5793). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
