Item Description

A beautiful GEMMY blue-green Tourmaline from the famous Pederneira Mine. The crystal is doubly-terminated with a lovely trigonal termination on the thick base of the crystal that tapers down to a thin termination on the other end. Interestingly, there is a spot near the top of the specimen where a hollow cavity of what looks like a partially dissolved Tourmaline remains. The termination of the crystal is present, but the prism is missing, leaving a narrow void. A really unusual and attractive Tourmaline from this prolific gem crystal producer in Brazil. Weight is 12.41 grams.
