Item Description
Himalaya Tourmalines are some of the most well-known minerals from any locality in the United States. The beautiful multi-colored crystals with their excellent internal gemminess and superb crystal form has made them a staple of many collections for decades. This fantastic small cabinet sized display specimen is an excellent quality, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, doubly-terminated "floater" crystal with minor attached blades of Albite (var: "Cleavelandite") and a few small groups of purple colored "Lepidolite". Internally the color is a wonderful pink hue throughout most of the prism, but the end with the pyramidal termination shows a rarely seen golden-orange tint to it (similar to the "tea" colored Tourmalines from Maine). Excellent condition all around, no major damage. Highly desirable on the market today, and a must have for any Tourmaline collector. Priced in the inventory at $3,200. Specimen weight is 41.30 grams.
