Item Description
Adorable and RARE combination miniature from this obscure Minas Gerais pegmatite in the well-known Conselheiro Pena area. Two, pristine, parallel-growth, doubly terminated tourmalines dramatically dominate the matrix of smaller tourmalines, quartz crystals and cleavelandite plates. The well-striated, highly lustrous tourmalines are gem. Back lighting highlights the rich grass-green color. The two crystals are 5.2 and 4.8 cm long. Ex John Dagenais Collection, a well-known Canadian collector. He passed away in 2022. Mineral specimens of any species are quite rare from here and this is a captivating and cute combination with beautifully placed tourmalines.
