Item Description

An impressive and sculptural old-time combination piece from the Himalaya Mine. The very sharp, partially etched, tan microcline crystals are dramatically enhanced by two, classic, bi-colored tourmalines. The adorably set 4.0 cm, lustrous gem has a olive-green lower section, gorgeous "Himalaya pink" zone, followed by the narrow light apple-green area, just below the frosted termination. This cutie is pristine, except for just a bit of termination edge wear. The embedded secondary tourmaline is not as bright and has an etched termination. A bed of cleavelandite blades and snow-white laumontite crystals (rare association!) rounds out this most excellent and showy combination. Old style and find.
