Item Description
A very imposing matched pair of tourmaline crystals aesthetically accented by bladed cleavelandite from the Shigar Valley and the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The splendent, well-striated crystals have moderately lustrous, matte-black terminations. The tourmalines are overwhelmingly black (schorl), but there are areas of gemmy, olive-green in both crystals. The tourmalines are complete all-around and nearly pristine. The left-hand crystal has a small ding on the right side, just below the termination, which is certainly only a modest detraction. Herb valued this very sculptural combo at $500, five or more years ago.
