Item Description

A striking, large, parallel-growth, tapered elbaite crystal from this renowned locale. The highly lustrous, moderately translucent crystal could be classified as an indicolite with the grayish-blue color. The "cityscape" termination is all there and is pristine. Complete all-around and pristine. The back side is embedded with tiny, tan lepidolite crystals and snow-white albite. An unusual and excellent form of elbaite from this renowned locale. 71 grams mass.
