Often, when Tourmaline is carved, it is because the material is too included to cut for gemstones, so it's really a treat to see a pair of Tourmaline carvings that are SO clean like these stones! These matched carvings are natural tricolor gems with a deep green color at the base, which grades into a thin colorless "Achroite" zone, and the majority of the stone has a rich pink hue on the other end. Both gems are masterfully carved into wings/leaves with great detail and fine crystal clarity! This set could be set into a lovely pair of earrings, or left alone as a great addition to anybody's collection. A truly beautiful little Tourmaline carving set. Valued at $518.00 high retail.
