Item Description

Tourmaline specimens of this unique quality are said to have been recovered in the 1970s from this obscure Itinga, Minas Gerais locale. A highly lustrous, transparent/translucent, bi-colored tourmaline has been partially pseudomorphed by lustrous, lilac-colored lepidolite. The tourmaline body is a rich green and the splendent termination area is black with a nifty accent of bladed cleavelandite. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only trivial termination edge and side bruising. Comes with a Rocksmiths label. A very showy and uncommon pseudomorph, seldom on the market. valued $500
