Item Description
This multicolored tourmaline has a sharp, lustrous, glassy termination and the vqariety of colors that was classic for this location - characteristic of older finds more than modern area material,. The glassy, pointed termination makes it so special, as most are flat or without such luster. It is complete all around, 360 degrees, without damage. It sit flat on its own but also comes with a custom lucite display base, as well. Valued at $4000-4500, and recently deaccessioned from the Alex Neufeld collection. 155.6 grams.
