Tourmaline gems are wildly popular among dealers and collectors for their intense colors in various shades. I recent years, the value of facet grade Tourmaline has risen, and now top gems are selling over $500 per carat and more (for the non-Paraiba material)> Pink is one of the most popular colors for Tourmaline, and this gem is a nice example of said material. This stone has a "Trillion" cut with a vivid pink color. The stone is slightly included, but Tourmaline is classified as a Type-3 gemstone which means that inclusions are almost always present, and are accepted by dealers and collectors.
