Item Description

A beautiful pastel-hued, multicolored tourmaline that is a rare large tourmaline from Nepal's remote pegmatite deposits. Few specimens come to the market, and they trickle out over the years. This one, remarkably, is doubly-termianted with a basal tip and a prismatic termination at the other end. The coloration is not what you could call intense, to be blunt - but it is a pretty combination of pastel hues. A tourmaline of this size is rare from here, in any case. There is one clean repair in the middle but no damage otherwise. I know this was found prior to the late 90s because I had it from a collection at that time, sold it, and got it back again a year or so ago. Valued $1800-2000
