Item Description

From a find in the late Fall of 2005 in Pakistan. A nice thumbnail sized specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. These crystals are well known for their multicolor crystals and beautiful aesthetics. The crystals on this piece features a few colors ranging from a yellow zone at the termination, which gives way to a blue-green hue throughout the rest of the crystal, and a very thin nearly colorless "Achroite" zone near the edge of the prism at the base. Yellow is one of the rarest colors to find in Tourmaline. This is a great little display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These piece are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market.
